ABOUT US

Our vision:

TT Logistics aim to be the most desirable logistics service provider in Australia by our employees and our customers.

Our Mission:

TT Logistics will enhance customers’ supply chain by value adding through TPS, Quality, Flexibility, Visibility and innovation.

TT Logistics (TTL) was established in 2008 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho (Australasia) Pty Ltd (TTALA), which has been operating in Australia since 1971. TTL was created from an internal business unit of TTALA to an independent legal entity and this allowed TTL to grow beyond the internal structure of TTALA and not be limited to the automotive industry. Meanwhile TTL is well established in the retail, industrial and electronics space.

Within the larger Toyota group of companies TTL is the only independent 3PL warehousing specialist and provides logistics services to Australian and multi-national customers. Each of our distribution centres demonstrates our operating principles of safety, quality, efficiency, flexibility and teamwork.

The full extent of TPS (Toyota Production System) methodology is applied throughout the business and TTL encourages full participation by all employees in Kaizen activities and suggestion schemes to ensure operational excellence.

The key points of differentiation of TT Logistics are:

  • Continuous Improvement Culture
  • Warehousing specialist
  • Agile and scalable
  • Quality
  • Safety
  • Global Reach

TTL is ISO 9002 quality endorsed as well as ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems endorsed and also has an AQIS accreditation for ambient dairy products.

Toyota Production System (TPS)

This systematic approach promotes the complete elimination waste and with this in mind TTL pursues the most efficient method of operation of its business. The main objectives of TPS are to design out overburden (muri) and inconsistency (mura), and to eliminate waste (muda) like overproduction, transportation, inventory, waiting, over processing, rework, unnecessary motion and loss of intellect. The most significant effects on process value delivery are achieved by designing a process capable of delivering the required results smoothly; by designing out “mura” (inconsistency). It is also crucial to ensure that the process is as flexible as necessary without stress or “muri” (overburden) since this generates “muda” (waste) in finally the tactical improvements of waste reduction or the elimination of muda are very valuable.
